A Runner’s Love
An endowment originally created in September 2012 with the objective to cover medical expenses and rehabilitation for a fellow runner who was struck by a drunk driver while training. A Runner’s Love 5k and 10k races were organized along with sponsors and government agencies as a medium to raise awareness and encourage drivers to respect runners on the roads.
A race for everyone
The first edition of A Runner's Love (ARL) took place in December 15, 2012 and registered approximately 4,500 runners, walkers and children. It established ARL as one of the most popular and enjoyable races of the year. By its fourth edition, ARL was funding other athletes in need of assistance who had also been involved in accidents. Working in the managing committee I was assigned to create all graphic design, branded content and manage the Facebook page which achieved over 10k followers.

ARL has an SNL Moment
The Mayor of San Juan wore the ARL shirt from the 2014 race to a press conference post hurricane María. The shirt was later reproduced in the Saturday Night Live show for one of their comedy skits.
